How To Use

Diagram of our slingsThe SnugBaby Mei Tai sling offers a range of different carry positions depending on the age of your baby, your own preference, and of course what carry your little one feels like.

The sling is simple in design, consisting of a main body-panel, 2 shoulder straps and a waist strap. The waist strap is one continuous strip, which runs through a tube of fabric, so that the bottom of the sling is able to gather to form a comfortable and secure seat for your baby.

It may be useful to have a second person with you to assist with the tying for the first few times - although you'll soon get used to it. You may even find your own way of tying the Mei Tai, and as long as the baby is comfortable and secure, this is fine.

With all carrying positions, you may find that once your baby is in, the straps can be tightened and re-knotted, for extra security.

I hope you and your baby enjoy using your sling.

Safety is of utmost importance when carrying your baby in any kind of sling, and the sling should always be inspected for damage prior to use. Exercise caution when carrying your baby, and be aware of the extra personal space you and your baby take up – allow extra room when going though doorways etc.
