New UK Babywearing Resource
There is a recently launched babywearing website, which we just had to tell you about.
“Get Your Hands Back!” is a campaign to inform people about the different types of baby carriers available, and about the benefits of using a baby carrier or sling for both parents and babies.
The website is still in early days right now, but plans to cover:
* Babywearing stories, how you got into it, what are the advantages for you
* Babywearing “How To”s (how to choose the right sling, how to tie it when it arrives)
* Product Reviews
* General information, hints and tips
* Links to existing resources where they already do a great job!
There are already some great posts on there, including a run-down of the various types of sling from around the world, and one dad’s account of using a sling.
Check it out for some great advice and interesting articles. Don’t forget to send in any fab photos you have, or share your stories!
