Happy birthday to me (and a little reflection)

It is my birthday today, and it’s a bit of a biggie, so this evening I have been reflecting on recent years and what I have achieved. I wonder if the next 10 years will be as good as the last?

In my twenties I have:

• Graduated from uni and held a high position in my previous occupation
• Bought my first house, with my now husband (and then moved several times – we are now on house number 4!)
• Got married (He claims to be an adonis, but I am reserving judgement)
• Gave birth to my two gorgeous sons
• Started my own business (a huge leap for me!)
• Got my lovely puppy (which was a sort of early birthday present to myself)

All in all, I think my 20’s were pretty good. There are some things that I would like to have done, that I now can’t (for a while, at least) like travelling, but overall I am pretty happy with my lot.
