Beyond Bumps and Babes
We had a lovely day on Saturday at Nantwich, and as always it was great to meet some of our fellow babywearing advocates. Given the recent news articles about babywearing and slings, it was hardly suprising that people showed interest in carrying their babies in slings, and in SnugBaby. There was lots going on throughout the fair, and it was a big success, so much so that the organisers are
already thinking about one for next year.
Some of my favourites from the show were Beanpole Bumps, who specialise in maternity wear for taller ladies – not something I need at a meagre 5 foot 3 (and a half) but a fab company all the same. With everything from jeans to formalwear and pyjamas, it’s a great website for tall mums to be. I also loved the breastfeeding clothes from Bella Mama. The website was the brainchild of Kirsten after she had her second child and wanted to look gorgeous while maintaining an element of dignity when breastfeeding in public. The clothes are beautiful, with many being suitable for nursing mums in particular, and all are great for any aspiring yummy mummy. Both sites sell a range of accessories too, so are worth checking out in the run up to Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, don’t forget the last order date for most items is 15th December, but some items are selling out fast, so make sure you place your order while you can!
